over the crops,
it's metal roof
painted in a rusty red.
The sun is setting
behind the mountains
as the clouds
capture the color
of the evening.
Sun rays burst
through the layers
of storm clouds
left over from
an afternoon of rain...
Sunflowers are the happiest flowers
on Earth,
resembling big open happy smiles,
their vibrant yellow
and orange colors
dressing up the pastures
in pretty summer shades...
