...A long dock leads out
to the boathouse,
it's blue roof matching the color
of the deep blue thunder clouds
overhead. The colors in the sky
are gorgeous, clouds gathered
over the big lake after a thunderstorm
in the afternoon. The fresh water
is glossy, reflecting the tall colorful
clouds overhead and the brilliant
golden light as the sun sets.
Long marsh grasses wave gently
in the evening breeze
in this tropical summer setting.
