A beautiful colorful old maple tree stands along the backroads along the road way up to the Wayah Bald as early morning sunlight pours through the colorful orange branches and leaves of the trees along the road at sunrise, near the Appalachian Trail by Wayah Bald in the tri-state area of North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The forest of trees surrounding this high mountain spot is stripped of it's autumn foliage and nearing the start of winter at dawn.
