sits parked on the dock
by the Jekyll Island marina
late in the day.
They were probably ridden there
by some folks
who wanted to enjoy
the sunset view
from the end of the wharf
by the Latitude 31 bar and cafe...
Gorgeous clouds fill the sky
as evening settles in
and Happy Hour begins.
The air has a salty feel to it
as the golden hour
of the day sinks
into the worn planks
of the pier
and the happy sounds
of pelicans fill the air...
