Memories of Autumn

... Long limbs reach
into the fog just after sunrise,
captured along the swollen
Valley River at fall. Mountain mists
float through the cloudy sunlight,
leaves left at the feet of the forest
of trees on the edge of the stream.
There is silence in the early morning
along the edge of the river, pure
reflections glowing in the misty
light of dawn. Enjoy our mountain
images of Appalachia
and the Smoky Mountains!
