from Brookings Oregon
sits moored at the harbor
in Gold Beach at sunset.
The colors of the sky are incredible,
full of pinks and peaches and blues...
The dock is reflected
in the salty marsh
at the north jetty.
The pier is ready
for more boats and ships,
the pier pilings soaring
above the fishing boat.
The jet boats take off from this harbor
and head down the Rogue River.
The Pacific Ocean pours in here,
tides rising and falling,
but the harbor is quite protected
from the big waves that stir the beach
just north of this jetty.
Harbor seals live in this spot,
on the rocks close to the beach.
The big bridge is near-by
and makes a beautiful photo subject too...
This area is a photographer's dream!
