The sky is blue and the water so tranquil, reflecting the early Spring color of greens and yellows in the trees surrounding this high mountain lake. The lake is in the Cherokee National Park and is part of the Chilhowee Recreation Area of Tennessee, in the tri-state area of North Carolina and Georgia. A beautiful forest waterfall trail starts right alongside this pretty lake and leads through the woods to the Benton Waterfalls. The trail is easy and gorgeous in the full spring, summer, or autumn...
