for this German-speaking area
of this beautiful country.
The vineyard covers the hillside
while the forest
encircles this rural spot.
The clear shallow water
of the small lake reflects
perfectly the sweet little house
and long rows of grapevines.
Caught on a sunny late
Spring afternoon,
the trail through this pasture
is lined with blackberry brambles,
fully in flower and ready to set
into sweet luscious berries
by the summertime...
