... A very rusty old Western Flyer
bicycle has become
part of the garden.
Captured at an antique shop
seemingly growing right in the ivy,
the wildflowers caress
the vintage wheels and frame
of this interesting photo subject.
A touring frame with fenders and rack,
this beautiful relic
must have been used
for the local shopping trips
and touring on country roads and paths.
The shop where this old bike
has found a home is in
the Smoky Mountains
of North Carolina,
near the Tennessee and Georgia
state lines. No longer ready to ride,
it makes a very nice garden decoration!
