... Photographing the full solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 was a phenomenal experience, something we will never forget in our entire lifetime! This image was captured at the moment when the moon's shadow was exactly in front of the sun at totality. The lens flares added to the mystery and drama of color in the image. Everyone at the park where we viewed the eclipse in Murphy, North Carolina yelled in delight when the complete darkness fell for over 2 full minutes...
