... The great Smoky Mountains are beautiful, layers of mountains and valleys capturing the special light of the total eclipse. This image was captured in the Blue Ridge mountains and created into a fine art digital image portraying the historic and monumental total eclipse of August 21, 2017. The forest of trees stand tall in the foreground overlooking the big mountains of the Smokies. A glow shows up at the horizon as the sun is covered by the full moon, adding beautiful colors to the rural countryside...
