A long footbridge spans the beautiful Valley River in the tri-state area of North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, captured in the early winter after a wonderful snowfall, a touch of autumn still clinging to the forest of trees surrounding the river... A lone walker with a bright red umbrella to keep off the light falling snow leaves footprints along the path crossing the stream to the other side as a bright red cardinal watches the scene.
