Description
"Red Roof Barn"
by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan
...It is always a pleasure
to cycle along the back roads
of the Carolinas,
through the farmlands
and over hill and dale.
Always important to carry along
the trusty camera as often,
great photo fodder
such as this old red-roofed barn
shows up along the way.
Deep in the Appalachian Mountains,
at the start of autumn
when the dogwood trees
are bright red
and clouds gather
over the Blue Ridge mountains
to add interest
to the pretty blue sky...
This image was captured
between the Appalachian towns
of Murphy and Andrews,
just east of the Tennessee border
and just north of Georgia,
often called the Tri-State area...
