Description
"Red Jeep"
by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan
... An old restored red Jeep
sits along a country road
on a farm on a misty morning
in the middle of fall...
We think this one
is a 1951 Willys Jeep.
Here is some information from Wikipedia:
"The Willys MB (commonly known as a Jeep, formally as the U.S. Army Truck, 1/4 ton, 4x4) and the Ford GPW are four-wheel drive utility vehicles that were manufactured during World War II. Produced from 1941 to 1945, it evolved post-war into the civilian Jeep CJ-2A, and inspired both an entire category of recreational 4WDs and several generations of military light utility vehicles. The style of Jeep came back in briefly in the 1950's." The forest is just beyond, decorated in full autumn colors and morning fog in the Smoky Mountains of Appalachia!
