... An old vintage truck stands
at the edge of this
Appalachian dairy farm,
the barns surrounded
by the Smoky Mountains...
This is the very edge
of the western North Carolina
Blue Ridge mountains
and the dairy farm
is about 100 years old.
Sunrise light casts rays
through the fog,
misty angels
over the hillside pastures.
The truck is abandoned and rusty,
a 1939 Studebaker panel truck,
or so we think!
