Old Chevy Truck in the Sunset
by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan
... After a thunderstorm, sunset color in the clouds is very special. This image was captured at the very point when the sun touched the western horizon, glowing rays shooting out over the golden crops of wheat. A rusty vintage old Chevy pickup truck is sitting in the late evening sunrays as a flock of birds flies over. The pickup truck could be a 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, or 1953 with the split windshield and the front grill style and headlamps. A lone tree guards the edge of the pasture at this small farm found along the country backroads. Enjoy a special moment in time and see the rest of our big gallery of fine art photography and digital art! www.CelebrateLifeGallery.com

"After 30 years in the floral and plant nursery business, Debra and Dave Vanderlaan sold both businesses and turned their life-long photography hobby into full-time obsession. Many of their images showcase the tropical landscapes of South Florida and the mountain vistas of the Smoky Mountains and many gorgeous scenes around the world. Their motto is Celebrate Life and that seemed a natural name for their gallery. Their images have been displayed in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Turchin Art Center in Boone NC, the Palm Beach Photography Museum, the Art Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia,...
