... The last rays of sunshine glow
through the gnarled branches
of this old tree at the edge
of the beach at low tide. The air
is so still at the end
of a brilliant day, clear blue skies
above, deepening into dusky
lavenders. The horizon is aglow
in the last colors of the day,
golds and oranges coloring
the bit of clouds to sweeten
the emotions of seeing the sun
go down once more. Perfect
reflections in the still waters
at sundown glow in the shallow
water and the magic of seeing
the underwater life shows here
with a seaturtle and a school
of blue fish circling lazily around
and through the reef... Please
