... At dawn, the sun's rays
are touching the entrance
to the pasture fields on this dairy
farm in Appalachia, an old vintage
1942 Ford early model on the lane.
Captured in early Spring, the fog
has settled in the early morning
on the hillsides and the Blue Ridge
Mountains. This is the Smokies
at it's best, a light foggy mist
in the trees and dew on the pasture grass. The sun has just risen over the treeline and glows over the barns and sheds and the lane leading into the dairy farm, a 100-year old family-owned farm on the edge of the western Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, near the borders of Georgia and Tennessee...
