Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Beautiful gnarled old oak trees stand along the backroads trail on the way up to the Wayah Bald as sunlight mists pour through the gnarled gothic trees along the road at sunrise, near the Appalachian Trail by Wayah Bald in the tri-state area of North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The forest of trees surrounding this high mountain overlook is stripped of it's autumn foliage and nearing the start of winter at dawn.
